Like 2020, 2021 will be a year we’ll never forget. Amidst the tumult of Brexit, Covid and increasing environmental concerns, there’s a lot that we’re very grateful for and very proud of as we look back on 2021.
We’ve been juggling several very exciting projects this year, including:
Within and around these projects we’ve also made great advances in our technological capabilities, including:
These advances have been recognised by the industry and the wider business community. We were invited to present aspects of our work at engineering and sports trade shows, and we’ve gratefully received awards for our innovations from Composites UK and the Midlands Chamber of Commerce. We were also honoured to be shortlisted amongst luminaries like AstraZeneca in the national Chamber of Commerce awards.
We’ve seen our team grow, welcoming new members to our engineering and commercial teams, and taking on our first intern; we’ve taken on additional workspace to keep innovating; and we’ve continued to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our suppliers and customers.
Our team is looking forward to a well-earned rest with their families and we’re all very excited to welcome the challenges and opportunities of 2022.
From all at CBL, we wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We're just back from the Composites UK Awards in Birmingham, where we were delighted to pick up the Sustainability Award: Net Zero! This is for our pioneering work to devise a lower-carbon manufacturing process for structural composites.
