We recently finished working on a project to create the first of a kind: a thermoplastic composite e-Bike frame that could be made entirely in the UK at high volumes, and at a cost competitive with current imported sources.
The e-Bike frame offered notable improvements over steel and traditional composite frames (made from thermoset), including a reduction in manufacturing waste and energy use when compared with traditional composites, as well as a big reduction in labour and weight when compared with steel.

When we were asked by the Rail Forum to show members of the Great British Railways Transition Team and the Department for Business and Trade around our new facility, we jumped at the chance!
