We’re delighted to have scooped another award; this time at the Derbyshire Business Awards run by East Midlands Chamber. We won the ‘Innovation in Manufacturing’ category which was sponsored by Rolls-Royce.
This is the third award we’ve won in just over a year. Previously, a collaborative project we worked on to design and develop a prototype of a ‘very light rail’ crash structure, won a Global Light Rail Award in 2019 and a global JEC Innovation in Rail Award earlier this year.
On winning the latest award, our Managing Director, Steve Barbour said: “Winning the Innovation in Manufacturing award means a huge amount to us. We’re a young company that has only be operating for three years, so to have our technology recognised in this way is a huge confidence boost. Thank you to East Midlands Chamber and the judges.”
In his speech at the Derbyshire Business Awards, Mike Percival, Global Head of Manufacturing Engineering at Rolls-Royce said we “exemplified how, through collaboration and innovation, [companies can] generate new opportunities for themselves and solutions for their customers.” The judges also remarked on our impressive growth plan.
